“It’s About Time”

Hey, I heard this AWESOME sermon in my Intro. to Preaching class, and I thought that I had to share it. I highly encourage you to listen to it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and learn something cool from it.

LOVE

OVE is patient, LOVE is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
LOVE does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

LOVE never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. I Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)

 

Let LOVE be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. LOVE one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:9-10 (ESV)

 

For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)

 

Greater LOVE has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13 (NIV)

SNOW DAYS!

Snow and ice are sweeping the nation! School cancellations are spreading throughout the country faster than the Bubonic Plague! Hordes of snowmen and flocks of snow angels are appearing out of nowhere, as bread-milk-and hot chocolate are disappearing from the shelves. And the lyrics of Frozen can be heard virtually everywhere, as both kids, teens, and adults (both women and men) pretend that they are a Disney Princess. Snowpocalypse! Iceageddon! is here!

Snow days, they’re awesome  aren’t they? Sledding—cuddling with your kids under a warm blanket—NO SCHOOL! Aren’t they relaxing?! A Sabbath, a break from the headaches and trials of school. A day for a break!
