This quote comes from the TV series, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. And to an extent, it’s true. No one is born a monster. Anakin Skywalker wasn’t born a Jedi slayer, he became one. . . . Hitler was once a baby, just like any human being. He wasn’t born a dictator who hated Jews, he became one. And Satan wasn’t created as the devil, he became it.

No one is born a monster. Our choices form us into who we are and who we become. And our choices can hurt others . . . which means we can also create monsters. Yes, they make their own choices; however, it’s also hard to rise up and to think clearly when you’re in pain.  Continue reading
